Plasterer critically hurt in Valletta construction site fall

A plasterer was critically injured on Saturday morning after he fell a height of three storeys while carrying out works at a site in Valletta.?
The victim, a 55-year-old foreign national who lives in St Paul's Bay, was immediately rushed to Mater Dei?Hospital.?
Witnesses said the incident happened around 10.15am on the corner of Old Theatre Street and St Ursula Street, when the victim is believed to have plunged from an apartment entrance to the service lift. Blood-splattered tiles could be seen at the entrance to the building.?
Health and safety officials have assessed the building where construction works were taking place.?
