Traffic deviations as fortifications get facelift

Traffic will be re-routed in some parts of Valletta as works will commence next month on the restoration of the British fortifications in the ditch area.
Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation said that works would start on October 24 and take around seven weeks, when the dtich area will be closed, with vehicles not able to get from Triq San Nikola to Triq il-Lan"a. Vehicle going toward the ditch from the waterpolo pitch and from Triq il-Lan"a will be able to pass through Jews Sally Port and get to Triq San Nikola from there.
