Towns and areas in Malta

Ħal Tarxien (Tarxien)

Ħal Tarxien is a small village in the southern part of Malta. Its population stood at 8605 in March 2013. Population has increased by 3 people in October 2014.

Today, the village is inhabited by 7,724 villagers (December 2008). When the summer comes, the heat drives most of the citizens of Ħal Tarxien to the seaside villages of Malta, often bringing down the population of the village to about two-thirds of what it is during the colder months. (Wiki)
